About

Welcome to the Interactive Atlas of Education, an innovative tool that provides a wealth of information on education indicators across different geographical areas. Our platform is designed to help researchers, policymakers, educators, and anyone interested in the world of education to easily access and analyze data related to education indicators.
Our interactive platform presents education indicators in a variety of cartographic representations, ranging from national to communal levels. Our tool allows users to visualize and compare key indicators such as average level of education, access rate for a given level of education, literacy rate, number of schools, educational inequalities, gender disparities, and much more.
We use official World Bank data for the period 1960 to 2021 for three countries: Sudan, Morocco, and Benin. We constantly update our data as new information becomes available. Some variables may have missing data, which will be reflected in the graphs as zero values.
Our platform was built with the R Shiny package, a data analysis software used to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for data exploration and analysis. We are committed to providing a user-friendly and accessible platform for all users, regardless of their level of expertise in data analysis.
Our Interactive Atlas of Education is essential for identifying areas of concern and informing education policy decisions. Join us in our mission to promote education worldwide by exploring and utilizing our powerful tool.
